Who may be involved...

a cooperative for change

Family, friends and allied professionals including teachers, occupational therapists, counsellors and psychologists together and individually are an invaluable support for a child or young teen with communication difficulties.

Collaboration is integral to my work as a fundamental for change. Suffused with advocacy, that the voices of children and teens are heard.

In speech and language therapy one qualitative measure of collaboration is cooperative learning using workshops and training sessions. The observable practical benefits or stimulating conversations arising from them can be deeply rewarding.  I create opportunities for professional development for teachers and allied professionals as I do equally for families and the wider community.

As every interaction has the potential to be an intervention, I strive to be available. I support our community by providing face-to-face and remote, assessment and therapy services.
